Kandidaatintyön aiheena on tasoristikkorakenteen tarkastelu graafisella ja analyyttisellä menetelmällä. Työn tarkoituksena on verrata menetelmiä tietokoneohjelman kanssa. Aineistoa kerätään kirjastosta ja internetistä. Esimerkkiristikko lasketaan käsin eri menetelmillä käyttäen apuna myös piirto-ohjelmatyökalua. Lopuksi käsinlaskettuja tuloksia verrataan tietokoneella saatuihin tuloksiin. Tietokoneohjelmalla ja käsinlaskuilla päästiin samoihin tuloksiin, vaikka tietokoneohjelma perustuu eri menetelmään.

The subject of this thesis is to analyze a plane truss by using graphical and analytical methods. The purpose is to compare methods to a computer program. Material is gathered from libraries and the Internet. A case study is analyzed by hand with different methods using the help of a graphics program. Then the results are compared to the ones of a computer’s. While computer program is based on a different method, the results are the same.
