Tämän kandidaatintyön tarkoituksena on luoda yleiskäsitys männänvarrellisten pneumatiikkasylintereiden releohjauksesta. Käsittelyssä keskitytään relelogiikalla toteutettuun ohjaukseen sekä sylinterin toiminnan aikaansaaviin venttiileihin. Kokonaisvaltaisen kuvan saamiseksi aiheesta työssä käsitellään myös lyhyesti muita yhden sylinterin ohjauksessa tarvittavia komponentteja sekä esimerkki kaksitoimisen sylinterin ohjauksen toteutuksesta.

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to provide an overall idea of the relay control of pneumatic single-rod cylinders. This work focuses on relay logic as well as on the valves that enable the movement control of the cylinder. In order to obtain a complete picture of this subject, we also briefly discuss the components required for the control of one pneumatic cylinder, as well as an example of the implementation of double acting cylinder control.
