Tiivistelmä Kandidaatintyön tarkoituksen on käydä yleisesti läpi ilmatäytteisen kumirenkaan tiekontaktista. Työssä käydään läpi kitkan teoriaa, kuinka perinteinen kitkateoria eroaa kumirenkaan ja tien välisestä kitkasta, kumin materiaaliominaisuuksia sekä renkaan pitoominaisuuksia. Työn tarkoituksen on perehdyttää lukijaa renkaiden toimintaan ja ominaisuuksiin. Työn lähteinä on käytetty aiheeseen liittyvää kirjallisuutta. Työssä on käytetty teoriaa havainnollistavia kuvia ja esimerkkejä. Road contact of infltable rubber tire Abstract The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis was to get familiarized with the tire contact patch of a rubber tire. This thesis focuses on the theory offriction, how simple friction model is different from the friction between the tire and the road, material features of rubber and grip features of the tire. The target for this work was to familiarize the reader with how the tires work and the features of a rubber tire. The sources of the work have been automotive literature. Pictures and examples have been used to help understand the theory. see all
