Tiivistelmä

Tämä diplomityö käsittelee ammatillisen rakennusalan koulutuksen ja sidosryhmäyhteistyön hyödyntämisen mahdollisuuksia. Vuonna 2018 tuli voimaan uusi laki, laki ammatillisesta koulutuksesta. Sen myötä ammatillinen koulutus koki uudistuksen. Uudistuksen eräs tavoite on saada ammatillisen koulutuksen ja työelämän yhteistyötä tiiviimmäksi. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää, millaisia keskeisiä haasteita liittyy ammatillisen oppilaitoksen tilahallintaan ja millainen tietämys sidosryhmissä on ryhmäintegraation mahdollisuuksista sekä millainen tahtotila ja tilavalmius sidosryhmillä olisi vastata tällaiseen kumppanuusmuotoon. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa selvitetään mitä hyötyjä sidosryhmäyhteistyöllä voitaisiin saavuttaa rakennusalan opetuksessa.

Diplomityö toteutettiin case-tutkimuksena, johon sisältyi puolistrukturoituja teemahaastatteluja. Kirjallisuuskatsaus tuo tutkimuksessa tietoa ja perustaa tutkimuksen tavoitteiden selvittämisen tueksi. Tässä tutkimuksessa lopputuloksen kannalta haastatteluilla on erityisen suuri merkitys. Haastateltavat valikoitiin case-yrityksen kannalta maantieteellisesti läheiseltä alueelta. Haastatteluita tehtiin urakoiviin yrityksiin sekä valmistavaan rakennustuoteteollisuuteen.

Tutkimuksen tärkeimpänä tuloksena voidaan pitää sidosryhmäyhteistyön konkreettisien toimenpiteiden määrittämistä hyötyineen. Lisäksi ammatillisen koulutuksen tilahallinnallisten haasteiden määrittäminen on tutkimustuloksena merkityksellinen ja hyödynnettävissä muissakin koulutuksen järjestäjien tilatarkasteluissa.

Possibilities of utilizing stakeholder cooperation in vocational construction education

Abstract

This Master’s thesis deals with the possibilities of vocational construction education and the utilisation of stakeholder cooperation. In 2018, a new law, the Act on Vocational Education and Training, entered into force. With it, vocational education and training underwent a reform. One of the aims of the reform is to strengthen cooperation between vocational education and training and the world of work. The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of key challenges are associated with the spatial management of a vocational institution and what kind of knowledge the stakeholders have about the possibilities of group integration, as well as what kind of will and spatial readiness the stakeholders would have to respond to such a form of partnership. In addition, the study examines the benefits that stakeholder cooperation could achieve in construction education.

The Master’s thesis was carried out as a case study, which included semi-structured thematic interviews. The literature review provides information in the study and provides a basis for the study to support the study in determining the objectives. In this study, interviews are particularly important for the end result. The interviewees were selected from an area geographically close to the case company. Interviews were conducted with contracting companies and the manufacturing construction products industry.

The most important result of the study can be considered to be the identification of concrete measures for stakeholder cooperation with their benefits. In addition, the determination of the spatial management challenges of vocational education and training is significant as a result of the research and can be utilised in other spatial reviews of education providers.
